5 Capitals directors have experience of development planning projects and ESIA’s for Masterplan projects for mixed-use, industrial and residential developments from the cities of the UK to the Middle East. These include masterplanned developments in Dubai together with road and rail infrastructure. In Saudi Arabia, the team undertook a Strategic Environmental Assessment of King Abdullah Economic City, identifying the critical environmental and social components associated with the planning of a new economic city that will cover an area of >80km2.
The studies brought together an expert team from around the world for analysis of samples and modeling of Regional air quality. We also assessed 26km of coral reef in the Red Sea providing a database of baseline ecology and water quality to guide future development planning and protections of this pristine natural resource.
