We have produced construction environmental management plans (CEMPS) and developed monitoring strategies for hundreds of construction projects across the globe. We apply our knowledge and expertise to the process whilst working alongside construction managers and statutory authorities to ensure that environmental management during construction is practicable, achievable, reportable, transparent and well planned.
5 Capitals recognises that the construction phase can be a key risk area for any project and that careful consideration is required to ensure that control measures are identified and implemented that are able to mitigate environmental risks but also enable construction.
Environmental monitoring should be relevant according to the risks associated with the project and expectations of key stakeholders whilst also being able to evidence good practice and environmental enhancements.
We believe that appropriate planning and collaboration when preparing the CEMP and/or monitoring strategies can reduce costs, prevent delays, and ensure stakeholder confidence.
